I am really frustrated because I mist the enclosure 3 times a day and after 10 minutes the water just evaporates. I am going to go to Home Depot and buy a piece of plexiglass to cover the enclosure. I hope this solves the problem. The fact that the substrate is wet one moment and other moment it is dry drives me crazy. Please help.

Can you give us a picture of the enclosure? Covering it will probably help. and implants, keep in the substrate moist, and covering it will probably work. don't just missed the substrate but actually pour water into it and stir it around with your hand so that it is damp all the way through.

How often should I pour water on the substrate because When I got the substrate I poured water on to it. I got the substrate about 4 days ago.

we recently covered a table with acrilic, humidity shot through the roof! day time reads 65-70%, mist in morning. when home from work we mist again, when basking light goes off it rockets peaking in the 90's and holds up to 80% overnight. cold hide is constant high70's.

i have read and seen of domestic humidifiers being altered to solve low humidity, i looked into this and found that reptile ones aint woth the time, a simpil flexi hose directed into enclouser is ideal. we havent need to do this as simply an enclosed table done the job

defo! we coverd with plexi, fogger was next step if was insufficient, but misting twice a day seams to be enough to maintian 70% min. in scotland during winter right enough so conditions may differ

did the seeenshot load ok? from what i have seen its as easy as adding a tube to a humidifier and directing to tank. i would hold off untill adding a top as this may suffice.

Did that container come with a lid? If it did and you still have it just cut holes just slightly smaller then the light fixtures, put tinfoil's around the edge of the whole so the plastic lid doesn't get melted and lay the lights on top. You can also use plexiglass and just cut holes in that the same way. adding plants will also help.i'm sorry but I really don't know anything about foggers and humidifiers.
