I have a greek and I spray his enclosure everyday but should I get a humidifier?
I don't really know what my humidity level is I always ask to buy one and my parents say no so... I don't have oneWell it depends. What's your humidity level at? I get mine to 90% without a humidifier. But I use a closed chamber to keep the heat and humidity in.

If you can't afford a hygrometer to check your humidity level, how can you afford a humidifier?I have a greek and I spray his enclosure everyday but should I get a humidifier?
I can afford a hydrometer and I can afford a humidifier it's just my parents think I don't need it and won't buy it . And we already have a humidifier. I do give him daily shell sprays and i do soak him . I don't know where you got that I can't afford it lol . I have wood shaving and that coconut stuff as the substrateIf you can't afford a hygrometer to check your humidity level, how can you afford a humidifier?
In most cases a greek will not need a humidifier. Simply using a damp earthy substrate and offering a humid hide will usually be enough. Shell sprays and regular soaks will help with smooth growth and good health too.
Hi, have you read my Greek, Marginated or Hermann's tortoise care sheets yet? Follow those. The Hermann's and Marginated ones are particularly in depth. What type of Greek do you have? That can sway things a bit. I can identify it for you and that will help me to tell you what you need to do. However, you're definitely going to need to keep a sufficient humidity level regardless of subspecies if it's a baby. Post some good photos on this thread or e-mail them to me directly ([email protected]) and we'll get that figured out. There are several ways to keep up with sufficient humidity without having to break the bank on buying fancy reptile products that work about as well as...well nothing.
it's not the best picture of himI don't know where you got that I can't afford it lol .
They say no because they don't think I need one lolI got that idea from post number 3 above when you said you don't have a hygrometer because you ask your parents for one and they say no.
I'm pretty sure it's greek it's just a bad picture , I've had a russian before and they look completely different and Ik about the zoo med I'm looking to get a new oneYou don't have a Greek. You have a russian. Here is a care sheet:

And another helpful thread:

I also want you to know that the ZooMed tortoise enclosures are much too small for an adult russian. Or Greek.
It probably was labeled wrong but I will post pictures soonThere is quite a lot of variation in russian tortoise appearances. From the single front on view I am pretty convinced that is a russian tortoise. Perhaps it was mislabeled at the pet store? Maybe you could show a few more pics to us to be certain. Profile, top and bottom views?
Now that I see exactly what a greek looks like I think mine is a russianI thought you'd like to see a photo of my Greek (to notice that differences from multiple angles) Here he is:
