I am new to the site and we just recently got a sulcata hatchling. Just interested on the best ways to maintain humidity in an indoor enclosure. Thank you!
I use an aquarium tank and use 3 bricks of coco coir for substrate and soak it down every few days if its drying out. I also soak my sulcata every day in warm water and splash his shell while I'm at it. You can also keep a spray bottle handy and mist his shell a few times a day just make sure your temps are 80-90F so he doesn't get cold
Well, Morty the Torty and Tom beat me to it and I know they give great advice so use it and there ya go! I like cypress mulch for the substrate and I just keep it wet and use a spray bottle on the carapace. You want about 80% humidity. Tom's links will tell you the diet and other things you need to know. Welcome
