Hello all,
I have a particular female Hermann’s tortoise that I can’t tell if she is a hybrid or not- thoughts?

I have no idea. Do you think she may be? If she is, what's the mix? And what would you do?

The Testudo genus is one I have little experience with. So the subtleties of subspecies and possible hybrid is something I just don't have the experience necessary to give a good opinion.

Chris did some excellent discriptions of the species and differences in a thread he did in the Testudo sections. Look there and see if you can get him to comment.

How would we?
The most fool-proof way to find out would be to do a DNA test. There is at least one lab in the EU that does them because there is some type of requirement for doing that over there.

Not sure of the details. Perhaps one of the TFO European members can elaborate on that subject and where the lab(s) is/are located.

I am not experienced enough with the Testudo genus to have any opinion on the origins of your tortoise. You need to ask Chris Leone to get an expert opinion.

@HermanniChris What do you think this tortoise is? A pure member of one species or a hybrid?

Is this a potential Greek?
Since you are not getting another answer, I will tell you that your tortoise is certainly a Hermann's, not Greek. I am not expert enough to comment on possible hybrid, but I see no Greek characteristics.

Carapace and Plaston patterns are Hermman's
Divided subpracaudal is Hermann's rarely Greek
Spur on end of tail is Hermann's
Lack of Spurs on thighs (Greek would have prominent spur on thigh)
Lack of any type of hinge on plastron is Hermann's
