Would hydrogen peroxide on a q-tip foam up if it was placed on a "shell rot" location and not on a fungal spot? Hydrogen peroxide responds to bacterial infections, but not to fungus. Just curious. Has anyone used it?

I use hydrogen peroxide everyday for myself though I don't believe I have ever tried it on one of my torts I just use deluted betadine for my torts if something pops up that I don't like, so I don't really know if it would foam up for shell rot or a fungal spot.

I also would not use peroxide (and I could not confirm for you if your theory is indeed correct?) as a regular treatment..if it is not rinsed properly it can do additional damage....

I'd say h2o2 will hurt healthy well as fungal tissue. I'd not use it.
