Someone told me this was in the hollyhock/mallow family. Very pretty anyway.

Anyone know what this is? Is it safe to feed?

That looks exactly like the hollyhock I have growing. Got my seeds from the lovely Prairie Mom. My flowers are pinkish though. Hollyhocks are available in many colors. I just fed out a bunch of leaves and two flowers this morning.

The pink shrub is Malva sylvestris, not hollyhock.

Definitely hollyhock, it's a malva kind of a tall flower. Malvas should be safe. Very beautiful flower. I haven't had much luck growing them in my area. Enjoy yours! True beauty

This same family I think, only this one grows wild and also safe for torts. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong
