I'm in the same situation as yourself, I'm planning on expanding with another Colombian Redfoot later in the year(hopefully to breed with my female when she is older). But ultimately I would like another pair of another breed, the difficulty being in the UK finding tortoises which will be able to be outside a lot. I've thought about long term solutions, that maybe aren't ideal, however will likely provide a better environment than they would likely get by careless owners in the UK such as outdoor ground heating etc.

Pairs are not a good idea. Try for groups of three or more, unless you intend to house them all separately.

Thanks for the advice, I was planning to purchase a second redfoot vivarium, quarantine them for 3-6 months, and introduce them 1 at a time to a larger group, and eventually a large tortoise table. As of right now though I am sticking to the one, just until I am comfortable with taking care of this one. But the mind does wander to the future!

Just something else that's floating around in my mind. An outdoor heated area. Sounds silly but can be done. Needs to be enclosed on 4 sides to block the wind but an open top, then a heater, something like those they use for smoking areas outside pub over here. UVB can get in and everything would grow as a normal garden. Just a thought.

That would be a much better solution I would imagine, receiving the heat from above also. I got the idea of ground heating from a video of a tortoise farm that used it, but would be quite costly to install I would imagine. As it stands I have a couple of years to mull it over while my tort is still a wee one. As a side note your only a couple of hours drive from myself!

Good old Blackpool. Went last year with my family. My uncle lived there most of my childhood, he now lives just outside at fleetwood.
Had many a stag do there. ;)
I used to live in Fleetwood also, right next to the tram line! Nice to see somebody close by on the forums, with what looks like Redfoots also. Will have to keep an eye on what your up to with your torts and steal some ideas. Also if you do have hatchlings in the future let me know.
