Definitely an eastern Hermanns. Have to see the underside to know if it's a boy, but yes, that is an eastern Hermanns, not a Russian.

I'm afraid so. I don't know that I want to start a hermanns herd. I may have to just hang on to her until a hermanns herder comes along to claim her.

Definitely a female, as there is not concave on the plastron.
Arg. She's not going anywhere. Hubby loves her now. she actually seems to have a lot of personality in that little shell. I guess I'll build her a yard once I'm done with the long boxes.
