Can anybody ID thus tortoise please.
I rescued it recently. No UVA or UVB!

I was initially told it was a Greek (spur thighed).. however no spurs are present. Looking at plastron I considered a hermanns then the scutes don't match a hermanns. It has 4 toes on each foot. No spur at the tip of the tail..... it looks nothing like my Russian... any help would be nice thank you.

I'm newish to tortoise but I agree, looks like a hermann's/hermanni to me. We tend to see these and Russians a lot in our local pet stores.. poor guy, glad he's in a good home now.

I'm pretty certain it's Testudo hermanni , too.
And less certainly an eastern, so subspecies boettgeri.

Looks like a girl. And yes, I'm avoiding the species question because I don't know the answer. Congrats, by the way!
