@N2TORTS will this hatchling straighten out to the normal length like the other hatchlings or will it be little shorter in length ??

Yes it will "flatten out" a bit as the "round shape" is due to the tortoise developing in the egg. They actually are curled in a ball type fashion while developing inside the egg. I also might mention that this particular hatchling is from a "more than normal" Higher domed adult female CherryHead , so I would speculate that genetics plays a role in it as well, as I have hatched others from this female who all show the same visual factor. Great question and observation.:) I tried couple years back to explain the "higher domed" female , it's attributes compared to many (1oo's) I've owned and the genetic line following through with it's babies ...The unfortunate thing I was publically ostracized here in the forum for doing so. Telling me there is no such thing ....... " oh well"

I think just hatched o rhatching tortoises are cuter than any. Yours are beautiful...
