Indoor habitat

Are the India Star's more or less the same, as far as handling and indoor habitat design, the same as for Russians? I read that the entire table may need a temp of 90-95 throughout. Do they need hides and a cooler side? Any info is helpful.

every tortoise needs microclimates to heat up or cool down to appropriate temps.... and yes you need hides and a cooler area....
