I appreciate your enthusiasm and your time/content.
I also think a condensed version would be harder hitting and easier on the brains of anyone new to the hobby.
Is it just me? I find myself skimming through the very long posts. Missing a few vital parts.

Maybe @Josh can weigh in seeing he owns this forum. If 170 pics is fine with him in one thread, then go for it.

Dropbox or YouTube it if web space here is too expensive... which begs the question: Why don't you have videos on other platforms driving traffic here?

@Josh, a social media wall tying all external accounts together would easily allow this type of thing. Like an expansion or replacement of your forum media menu.

For what it’s worth, it’s going to be mainly pictures I thought people would like looking through, it’s less about information which will be quite simplifiedI felt like there wasn’t a current up to date spot to browse through different spaces

I have no idea how these forums work. I know they aren't free, is all I know. I just remember years ago at least once maybe twice when an update had to be done to add space. I have no idea if there is endless space to be had.

Btw, I just seen your visual inspiration thread. If you go with this threads idea, it should be added to that thread you already have.
Might want to put a disclaimer if you didn't, that they aren't your enclosures, so newbies/members know you only posted a pic, and don't know the details of the enclosure.

I wouldn't worry about using to much space. Aldabramans thread is 700+ pages and I'd bet theres at least 1 picture post per page.

@Littleredfootbigredheart you might want to look into posting pictures in the 'media' section and then linking them in a thread. Put the different elements of enclosures you're focusing on in different albums, and then use the 'gallery' tag when you show them in a thread. I think it would layout better than just putting the pictures in a thread

Trouble with that one is its focus is specifically closed chamber types for babies, wouldn’t want it get confusing when I have to link it to new members that have young torts in an open top.
Will definitely add that in about them not being mine though, thanks Barb! Though I’d be damn rich if they were all mine haha #goals

I did consider that but I worry newer people can’t always seem to grasp the media section, I always try to focus on making the whole thing looking smart and appealing to the eye, had positive feedback on the formats I go for so far, so hopefully people would like this one too

Had a chat with Josh about it, he’s happily given the go ahead and is even looking into some of the older broken links/images I’ve mentioned, not sure they can be fixed because of the old format they’re in or whatevers caused it, but you never know @Tom used to have a bunch of threads with great photo references, sadly a lot of them come up as a ‘?’ for me now, does anyone else have that issue? Ah well either way I’m so excited for you guys to see what I come up with! It’s looking really cool so far!

Absolutely loved this set up when I saw it! Would just have to be sure in between those panels is sealed well for a baby.

My DIY skills could neverbut they really do look great! I guess the only con is, depending on the size you do, it’s a lot of effort for a set up they’ll grow out of.

If you want to make a thread in the help section with the threads/posts with broken links, I can fix them if possible when I have time. If possible, the dead photo bucket or tiny Pic links are prob not salvageable but the links broken when threads forum software changed should be fixable.

Btw it’s finally complete guys! Took ages because it turns out I couldn’t paste the images without them turning into broken links, must’ve been the numbers lol, anyway feel free to let me know what you all think!!
