We have a picket fence area attached to our house. (used for our dog). My Husband thought he could "speedy proof" the slats in the fence by nailing boards to the bottom. And we'd have a great summer enclosure for our Tortoise too!! He never imagined we'd find him doing this...

What a silly tort....luckily they keep their "man" parts tucked in huh, or that would have been a terrible thing in a whole other way......lol :p

Lol!! As soon as they see a new obstacle it's like...challenge accepted!! Many times have I seen them on their backs. And they have no problems flipping over and giving it another try.

lol too funny my hermanns is the same but i was one step ahead of him when i made his new table i put triangular cut outs across all the corners so when he tries to climb the corners he's going no were lol, only thing is he as grown so when he as his first winter sleep i am going to change his area before he gets out lol

I should post a pic of my female Russian trying to escape her outdoor enclosure :p for some reason my male doesn't try to escape his outdoor enclosure though.

Those are some great pics. They just have to check out for themselves if the grass is greener on the other side or not.
