is it ok to mix repti bark and loose coconut substrate and if my tortoise pee on substrate will it dry or will i can see it so i can clean it

because it a russian tortoise it 4 inches and since he like to dig i just mixed it so it easy for him too dig

I use coco coir for babies, and orchid bark for adults. I never mix the two, but it won't hurt anything if you want to mix them. If you like it that way, then go for it!
