I think Rosey looks more male to me. Still kind of small to tell for sure though. Don't be surprised if you have to change the name. :)

Why? You've never heard of Rosie Greer? Or am I dating myself.

Looks like Rosey's plastron is starting to turn concave... Between that and the tail (big, tucked to the side), my guess is that "she" is actually a "he."

Granted, I haven't sexed many (or, any) redfoots, so I could be wrong... :p

So 2 votes for male and 2 for female. Anyone else have any opinions? Her plastron seems completely flat to me but this is my first red foot so Im no expert....

The plastron is starting to get concave, which is a sign of your tort being male. Using the anal scutes to sex isn't always reliable, so I'm leaning towards male.

I'd call it a female.

Short tail- a strong sign by itself.
90 degree anal scute angle- strong sign of female.
Small gap between points of anal scutes and marginals- sign of a female.
Flat to convex shell- strong sign of a female.

There is a SLIGHT concavity to the plastron in the rear half but the middle of the plastron slightly bulges, so I'd lean to female.

The gal is a bit small to be sure, though, and I ain't 100% at this yet.

Madkins Im so thankful for your factual post. I so wanted her to be a girl since we named her that way and such. And it may seem odd but she just seems so feminine and dainty to me. She has the cutest little toenails! =)

I'm leaning towards a male :) The tail, for a 6 inch Redfoot, is a bit to long already to be a females tail. Now if the tortoise was 10 to 12 inches it would be a female most definately. It also looks like a waist is starting to develop.

If at all possible, try to get a picture of the tail hanging down and not tucked up. This might be possible after a soak.

Iam thinking male too! ... Look at the wide angle of the anal scutes. Also, Like Dan mentioned a closer shot of the tail " not tucked" .. would be helpful~
