Is this safe for my desert box turtle and or leopard tortoise? I have it growing in my yard. Thank you

I believe that it is a plantain of some sort (though I am not sure from the picture), maybe broadleaf plantain (Plantago major). All plantagos are safe https://www.thetortoisetable.org.uk/plant-database/viewplants/?plant=208

I agree with 4-toed. It is a broadleaf plantain and is safe. My tortoises loved that stuff and ate it right down to the roots. I had loads of it in CT but it doesn't seem to be present here in GA where I now live.
