Is this Shell Rot????

Hi so i ordered a baby turtle off of myturtle.com or something.... Is it posible that she could have shell rot.
Or is it just her shell design???

Shell rot normally shows on the underside of the tortoise first. Has your tort been over-adventurous or is the basking bulb hanging too low and burning the shell?

By over-adventurous I mean has she been climbing and falling off things? Or squeezing between or under something hard? Either could cause shell damage

How high is the basking bulb above the surface of the enclosure?

Here is the under of her shell. She is not upside down.... I just held her up strait.... She is a painted tutle so i think she will be getting more color soon...

Yeah she climbs and falls off thing. Thats how high it is off of the cage

I really don't think that is shell rot and the lamp is plenty high enough not to burn.

I cannot comment on the overall setup as I have never kept this species.
