Hi,
I have a clutch of six Hermanns eggs, three of which have just hatched successfully. Whilst incubating, the eggs were in two, seperate trays of vermiculite in the same incubator. The hatched eggs are all from one tray, the remaining three are in the other tray. It looks as though one egg may have died (evidence of seepage out of the bottom) so my question is; could the one bad egg have caused a bacterial infection in the adjacent eggs and killed them?

Hi, Since our last exchange, all three of the remaining eggs, including the one I thought was dead, have started to hatch. :) The moral of the story? Never give up hope! :tort::tort::tort::tort::tort::tort::)
That's very nice.
I never give up until they leak and stink or downright explode.
There's something about one hatching that seems to trigger multiple hatchlings at once. Vibration or something.
Congratulations.
