One of my Russian rescues from last year laid 4 eggs this summer. 3 Of them never developed. The 1 though hatched today. This is my first. I am very excited and nervous. He doesn't have a yolk sack and his plastron is completely folded.
Please let me know if he looks normal.

WOW so happy for you. Be sure to check out the caresheets for Russian hatchlings. He's so cute. Glad he made it.

I would offer food seeing there was no yolk sac left. I know Tom offers food if I'm not mistaken even when there is a yolk sac left. @Tom please confirm

Thank you. I am putting food in twice a day. No evidence he is eating. His umbilical is healed already. I have an enclosure ready for him. Need 1 More night to monitor the low temp.
