So yeah, its been a while since this new Sulcata owner posted anything here, and you all were such a help when I first got my little baby, so I thought I would post some pics I took today.
Even though I haven't posted anything, I have still been reading a lot here and I love this place.

Besides the pictures to post, I also had a question about urates.
I do not ever see urates in her tank. In the 4.5 months I have had her, I have seen urates maybe 3 or 4 times, and one of those was the marble sized one I posted about a while back.
I know she urinates frequently, I see it in her tanks, and she goes in her soaks a lot too.
Should I be concerned about this?
She drinks her water frequently and gets a 15-20 min soak each day.
My best guess is she is 5-6 months old.

On to the pics.....

She's looking great. I say she because split scutes are almost alway female. I love the high dome too. Some of them just seem to grow that way.

When you soak them daily, they pee in the soaking water and replenish their water stores. Because they are so well hydrated, they don't have any need to concentrate their urine and so you'll probably never see urates until she's older and you stop soaking every day.

Im glad you like the high dome. I thought there might be something wrong with her, as I dont see a lot with such high domes.
I thought maybe I was feeding too much and she was growing too fast.
Its funny cause the dome is so high, she has just about outgrown her half a log hide.
time to upgrade.

Well I have had her about 4.5 months. The pet store I got her from wasnt sure on the age but they guessed between 1 and 2 months, so my guess is that she is no more than 6.5 moths old and no less than 5.5.

I dont know the weight, but she is about 3.5 inches long and 2.5 inches wide.

Thanks again all.

Good Job Ryan. My little Andy looks exactly like her, same color and everything.

I know the dent your talking about...it's hear the tail end...almost like a hump. Andy has the same thing. Their shell will start to get a little more defined and you'll notice new things taking place w/ the shell. A lot of it is pretty normal. One of the adult sulcata's I had (18 years old) and it had that slight little hump as well.
