They usually don't go far. Try to go out in the morning when your female is sunning as the male will be doing the same thing. Look for spots with edible weeds. I've found males weeks after they have escaped, so no giving up.

Cecilia is missing too....But I know she is somewhere back there. She cant espape Tortoise Bay...the sirens would go off and the hounds would go searching for her....hahahaha. But if she did manage to escape...Ill post her mug shot. Do not attempt to capture this tortoise...she is known to be armed and dangerous...

That sux, man. Yeah, Russians and boxies are pretty good escape artists. But you'd be surprised how often they turn up again. He could be around somewhere. Just keep an eye out for him. And then make sure his enclosure is secure!

I went through the same thing about three weeks ago. I was fortunate to recover my escapee the next morning. There was a lot good advice from a lot of very helpful people. To cut and paste it all would be too much, but here's the link:

I'm so sorry!! I know how badly you"re feeling.....Bella has done that to me twice...once she was hibernating, the second time, she was two blocks over...post signs, run an add...tell all neighbors so if they find him, they'll bring him home
