Japanese iris

I know, I know. Bulb plants tend to be off limits for tortoises. That said, I'll be digging out a bunch tomorrow, and wanted to know if for sure, Japanese iris
are not good to plant in outdoor enclosures for sulcata.

I don't know Cowboy, but I never seen a sully dig up a bulb and eat it:p Better wait for someone who knows about bulbs to answer that one.

Japanese iris is not an edible plant.

(and, tortoises DO dig up roots and eat them - seen it with my own eyes)

Thank you Yvonne. In that we've had bad weather here, I've yet to dig any out. Guess I'll stick with bunch grass and hardy fuchsia.
