Every morning i get my torts from their designated lounge spots and soak them. They are then returned to their enclosure. Usually they will sit around their food for a while, usually eat but not always, then theu scury back to their spots where they stay, for the rest of the day or until i move them. Am i not giving them enough stimulilation? Or do i have lazy torts?

Some tortoises are more active then others. Double check how they are set up (lights including how strong the lights are) the various temperatures within their housing) and also where they are set up within the home (is it a high traffic area? dark, drafty corner?). Does the housing unit create a safe secure and yet interesting habitat to encourage them to be active?

They are in a high traffic area. But its only myself and my boyfriend in the house so its not that bad. Ill try working with the lights and temps. See if a change will help.
