Hello. I have two tortoises that I’ve had since May 2018. When do they usually start laying eggs? ! I have one female and one male.

Leopards usually take about 7 years to reach maturity under optimal conditions. Longer if conditions have been less than optimal.

Pick each one up, hold the tortoise's back up against your torso with its nose pointing toward the sky, and have someone take a picture of the tail and anal scutes for us. We can then confirm you have a male and female.

Tortoises should never be housed in pairs. It's not good for them, even if there isn't obvious fighting. The stress from being housed as a pair all the time could inhibit breeding.
