This is Rocky my sulcata. http://imgur.com/sbpNOek The past weeks i have learn more and more about this kind of tortoise. I have built its habitat and would like some feedback to improve it. http://imgur.com/KtYgMjQ Right now Im feeding it timothy hay and roman lettuce. im planning of growing grass in the habitat. i know hay it has the fiber it needs. What will be some plants i can give to supply the calcium it needs? Will the grass have that calcium?

Hi, and welcome to the forum!

If your sulcata is small enough to fit in that small aquarium, then he's too small to eat hay. Baby sulcatas should be eating live grass, weeds and plants. You can supplement this with dark, leafy greens from the store. If you feed calcium-rich greens, you don't need to supplement calcium, however, if you do supplement, only use a small pinch between your thumb and forefinger twice a week or so. They won't eat if they can smell it on the food.

Please read the pinned threads at the top of the Sulcata section and make adjustments to your habitat accordingly.

A baby could never eat the hay, very well anyway the way you have it. Chop it up very fine and moisten it. Other food items Yvonne mentioned should be added. Tom's threads below in my post will help with housing, temps and humidity if you need it. Your enclosure looks like you may have already read Toms threads. I would maybe add a couple plants, otherwise it looks pretty good.
