So, every morning around 6am, I get the baby and put him in his warm morning soak while I feed the rest of the animals and get ready for work, then I take him out of his soak and give him fresh food for the day.

We have a wild fire burning in the area for the past week, and last night I couldn't take it anymore and took some Benedryl... I woke up late[r] than usual and went I raced out to the turtle's room, I found the baby emerging from his water dish heading towards his food dish.

I wonder how long he waited before giving up on me giving him his moaning soak before begrudgingly self soaking.. LOL!?

Unknown how ling he waited, but they are creatures of habit.
