My Redfoot has an upper respiratory infection stemming from a clogged lacrimal duct in her eye. unfortunately the antibiotic is causing elevated liver enzymes. I saw a thread earlier about using N-acetylcysteine (NAC) to help with liver function? does anyone know what the dosage would be per gram of tortoise weight or any experience with this?

my tort has been to the vet many times over last few months. last 2 liver function tests came back elevated after we started a new antibiotic. I read on another thread that someone recommended N-acetylcysteine (NAC) for liver support
