Looking for a Locale or ID for this Female redfoot.. She's about 13 years old or so. We got her a few years back from a neighbor who moved... She has lots of dark , zero red on her , yellow head and only a few yellow scales on her front limbs . Shell is dark her scutes barely yellow, bottom is splotched black. I know very little on exact locales for RFT so hopefully one of you do. We're just curious here . Any help appreciated

I only know enough about specific Redfoot traits to form a theory. And it seems to me that the larger growing RF from around Bolivia have a darker carapace. More subdued coloration and that somewhat unusual bell shape.
I'm not convinced that this is a more common "Northern". But I can be wrong. I'm not big on the different local populations.

Northern or southern wont make a difference. If it's the most common of the lot she's still just as sweet . Just want to figure it out ☺️.
I see all the literature , came up with the same possiblity but I'm no expert.
Though I kinda laugh because 90% of the time if someone ask for advice here everyone wants their 2 cents put in ( on this forum they try and give $5 worth ) to the new owner. Apart from when you ask an actual question. One they can't spout verbatim what they heard on here the night before . Then crickets and the big mouths get real quiet. Nice to see the forum is the exact same as it's been for the last ten years plus. I don't mean you ha I never met you. But I'm sure you know the people I mean.. good luck everyone it's pretty much why most real experts/hobbyists stay off this site. Like literally everyone In the field as the same eye roll about this forum.. Armchair Herpetology at its finest.

ok, side note, 2 cents, but the first picture, it might be my old monitor lighting or something, i was like"whoa...aldabra shell?" lol. anyway...
so, question. is it how wide the V is at the tail that indicates female? i can see her flat plastron. does her tail go past the end of the V? (hard to see).

That appears to be a Colombia derived tortoise. The yellow and black only colors are typical of some imports from (western?) Colombia.
