looking for quick response on feeding brocolli .

is it ok to throw that in every once in a while,ive never heard any talk about it and i happen to have sum around fresh and was gonna throw it in the mix.

I believe in very small amounts are okay. But not as part of its normal diet.

I would. I feel the same towards fruit and desert tortoises, if it's not good for them in general I would skip it entirely. There are some people that feel comfortable enough giving it to their tortoises as a treat and what not. So it seems to work for some. :)

ill prolly jus skip it cuz i got stars on top of that and i think their diet may be a lil stricter than most tortoises IDK maybe not but ill prolly jus skip it.

I feed any and all leftover veggies to my tortoises, cabbage, eggplant, squash, broccoli, cauliflower... waste not want not ;)

The stalks are actually good for their beaks. Not something I would feed every day, but then again I also do not believe in such things as "staple" diets. I am constantly rotating food sources, nothing gets fed two days consecutively and sometimes not even two weeks consecutively, except for the above mentioned "table scraps" (which are the trimmings of what I feed my family, uncooked of course.)
