My 2.5 pound Sulcata escaped on 8/13. We’re really missing her.

Ok, well two weeks later she could have gotten pretty far away, but its also possible they are hunkered down. Someone just posted that they had good luck with a thermal imaging around sunset (while the tort is warmer than the surrounding landscape as it cools).

Also post on next door and your local shelters and rescue groups.

Yes, I posted in local Facebook ‘lost and found pet’ groups right away, NextDoor, alerted the neighbors, signed up for daily updates for all reptiles in shelters in a 30 mile radius, check Craigslist and here regularly. Thought in should post here too, just in case.

I have about 3/4 acre and a heavily planted garden so I was hoping that she was just hiding, but i found a tortoise sized hole dug under the garden fence.
