Hi everyone :)

What am I doing wrong? This is Shelly.. She eats well mainly grass, Timothy hay, weeds and spring greens. I NEVER see her drink out of her water bowl. I bath her everyday for about 20 mins. But she is bumpy? Is indoors, she had been outside for about an hour if the weather has hit higher temps (am UK). She is about 6 months..

Any advice?

What is the humidity level in her enclosure? This is a leopard right? They need 70-80% humidity.

She needs a moist substrate and a humid hiding place (a cave stuffed with moist sphagnum moss), or else a closed chamber. I prefer to just cover my habitats with foil to keep the moisture inside.

they pretty much said it all about humidity for smooth carapace.

i wonder why she's not driking. my leopards drink like horses. oh, and add more kinds of greens to her diet. the more variety the better.

To better help, we need a bit more information about your husbandry.

- Type of lighting used?
- Temperatures throughout the enclosure and day/night?
- How are you measuring the temperatures?
- Humidity levels throughout the enclosure?
- Do you offer any vitamin supplementation to his food?
- Do you offer him hiding places in the enclosure?

Hi.

I have joint UVB/heat lamp and hot end reaching 80/85 cool end is 70/80 depending on time of day.

Have humidity at 83 which is stable

I have both digital and normal thermometers each end.

I feed calci dust and nutrobal alternate days.

She has 2 hides. One humid one normal and she uses both.

Bathes once a day for 20/25 mins but I have never seen her drink..

Thanks xx

Probably drinks during her baths....most do. Humidity for the smooth shell but she doesn't look bad. Not as pyramided as mine that I just got. 3.5 years old. Just remember to watch the temp when raising the humidity. it tends to drop with an increase of humidity. If going the highish humidity route I hear RI is more possible if temps drop below 80.leopyramiding.jpg
