Hey Everybody,,

i should be picking up a 1-2 year old hermann tort on sunday and i was wanting to (at a later date probably around december time) get another hermann the same age, within a couple of months and breed them when they get older.

does it matter how big the age gap is? and is it better if i bought them both at the same time?

thanks in advance

James

An age gap won't make a difference at all. If there is a considerable difference in age when they're both young they will come into maturity at different times. Once they've both reached sexually maturity age plays no part in their ability to reproduce.

It also makes no difference if they are purchased at the same time or not.
