Hi Niccky:

I like it. The only thing I would change would be to get a flower pot saucer and get rid of the waterer that you have. Then, dig the saucer down into the substrate so the lip is even with the substrate.

Does your buddy show any interest in his little friend on top of the house?

Haha. No. No interest with the guy on top of the house. I will definitely get him a different water dish though.

Hello and Welcome:) In case you haven't yet, take a look at Toms thread below, the second one on raising a smooth, healthy sulcata.

Cool. That might last a couple of months until he outgrows it... :)

He sometimes would climb the wall and I put that there so he wouldn't flip over on his back.

It's nice. I think you did well. Obviously the quality of the tortoise is proof.

Nice. If this is your first tortoise enclosure, you've done well. :)

It is a very nice enclosure. Over the next 6 months to a year, given the right conditions, he may double in size and need four times that much space. Time to start planning that next enclosure.

Ya. I have only had him for a few months now and he's doubled in size. Crazy how fast they grow. I have 14 acres so I'm going to enclose an acre strictly for him. He should be happy with it

Check out some of the Aldabra tortoise outdoor enclosures to give an idea of the strength needed for your walls. Also you may want to divide that acre so that some vegetation has a chance to grow as you move him from area to area for foraging.

Good luck. You're are growing a tank with an appetite.
