It's been a few days over a month since I got Oscar, and as of a few days ago, he is now a year old. Through all the money, time, build projects, and scares that I'm not caring for him okay, it's been a blast.
I'm sitting here on my bed with him, and he's just exploring.
I never thought owning a tortoise would be this amazing, and it's a far different experience than any other animal. It's a bonding and learning experience that I've come to love so much. I'm so thrilled to have this guy around.
My friends especially criticized me when they visited and saw this huge box in my room with a tortoise In it. I don't know how to explain it. It's just an amazing experience that I hope many more try out.
Oscars been a great pet, and an even better friend. I will happily have him around for the rest of my life, and then some.
