Just got my new group of THH. Been a while since I've had med species. Am going to over winter them this year as they are slightly under weight and I want to get them nice and settled.
Great little tortoises, full of personality and eating well.
3 females 1 male and one of the little females has an extra scute. :)

Big female is 6 and the rest are 2.

Any idea about their locality?

I'd love to see more pics once they are all settled in. Some face shots maybe?

What an amazing find. Lucky you.

yeah cheers, the 3 small ones were bred in Scotland but no idea about their original locality. I'll get some face pics for ya now. Little crackers and was a lucky find, right place right time.

not the best pics but I'll get better ones again. It's only a temporary set up I have for them, they will be on sand soil substrate very soon in their new home. :)

maybe sooner than that, the male has about a year until he's ready and the big female is ready to go. :)

Ah I've always wanted some, for years I've been going to a sanctuary in Spain where they breed these little tortoises head start them and release them into the wild.
