My outdoor tortoise run

I want to be able to sun my baby leos without having to stand guard from predators (or losing one).

Last week I posted a question about possibly using a rabbit run then I found this thread and felt the design was clean and simple. So I emulated and built one instead.

My final product:

Window lock to keep our non-human visitors out:

Dimensions are 8×4' and about 9" tall. We added a small plastic cover on top for shade. I also keep a water plate in there.

Updates:

My child painted it and I added some hinge lock guides to keep the lids propped open while loading.

I also added a wheel-kickout-dohicky (technical term) on one end so you can lift the other end and move it easily.
