Well, one major issue I see is that uncovered heater, the turtle is touching the heater and that can cause burns.

Can you give us a bit more history on them, and try to take some clearer pictures out of the water? If the wounds are shell rot, they need to be dry-docked for a bit.

Welcome to the forum.

I'm not able to see the spots you're talking about, however, the turtles are beautiful.

A little salt added to turtle water is helpful if you have fungus, but what I think is more needed than treating the water, is dry docking the turtles and treating the wounds.

Go to the pharmacy and buy a bottle of Chlorhexidine and a bottle of Betadine. On the first day, dab the wounds with some Betadine, using a Q-tip. Do this four or five times during the day, while keeping the turtles out of the water and allowing them to get completely dry. You can place a light at one end of the container, but be sure to not have it get too hot. Then, at the end of the day, you can rinse them off and put them back into a container of clean water for over night. The next day, you start all over again, with placing them into a dry container, only this day and from now on, instead of using the Betadine, you're going to use the Chlorhexidine.

Good luck with getting these turtles well.

Usually you mount the heater behind some kind of cover, like a big piece of slate or some rocks. Anything that keeps the turtle from being able to touch it. It is my experience that if you allow the turtle to come into contact with an aquarium heater, a broken heater is not far behind.
