Hello,

Just did a check on my tortoise and noticed this marking that stood out to me and was wondering could someone tell me what it possible is? Unsure if its from new growth but to me doesn't look too worrying but was hoping someone could be me some reassurance or what it could be?

All temps etc are fine I just noticed this today, no abnormal behaviour, all fine no signs of illness.

I am not sure what exactly is concerning you. Could you possibly circle or put an arrow in the photo pointing to the mark which you mean?

Still not 100% sure what you are seeing.

If it is that linear reddish area which is within that circle, it looks like normal new growth vascularity to me. New growth requires lots of blood vessels and frequently appears reddish/pink.
