Bougainvillea is safe in moderation. No worries.

Sleeping like they are dead (for lack of a better word) is totally normal and would give me a heart attack 50 times a day. It's quite disturbing, isn't it?! :p Disturbing but perfectly normal. (Thank goodness!) At two years old my Sulcata has yet to use his hides. He prefers to dig a little fox hole and hang out, watching the world go by.

WELCOME!!

Mine too :(
Those plants are very pretty but leaves are a pain to keep from the garden and now that I know they are not safe for my tort, I think I'm starting to lose some of my love for this particular plant.

Keep lovin' it! It is safe in moderation!

Thank you very much for the the link that webpage is really cool, it gave me lots of ideas of what to plant out in the garden once winter is gone :)

Yeah, is scary, the first time I saw him like that I panicked and picked him up....the poor thing, that is an awful way to wake up.
