Will his little feet keep him in the track ruts as he runs? Looks like he knocked over some trains.

So cute, so small, not small for long. Take pics.

Salutations Terra ~

Oh yes, he is adorable & yes, very fragile as well. Has he eaten anything yet? What temps do you have him in? He may just be a bit stressed but often I look to the heat to be increased if one is not eating.. Also, how often do you try to feed? And how often do you soak him? Keep us posted; as cute as the little guys are, this is often an age where a close eyeball is needed to keep them healthy.

Bestest wishes & enjoy!
Happy Belated birthday,
Purpod

Well i typed a hugh reply and it didnt save...errrr

He did snack today on a WARM cactus pad... i shaved off the top skin and warmed it for him.. he did take a few tiny tiny bites

he is in a 80-90 degree moist terrium with a dry cool 70 degree side

since his birth he has been soaked 2 times, last 2 days i had him.... now i will soak 10 mins every other day...

i have a natural pad growing for him, burmuda grass planted in soil in a 50 gallon tub
well actually its a seed pack i planted ...the info on the pack reads

"variety of grasses (including Bermuda which is native to Africa), millets, clovers, mixed greens, and other non-toxic tortoise favorites which vary with each season."

bought from http://www.sulcatafood.com/

i also have a mix of grasses from turtlestuff.com

Timothy
Oat,Red-2 types
Oat, White
Fescue-3 types
Mediterranean (very rare!)
Galetta
Orchard
Timothy
Bermuda/Couchgrass-4 types
Barley-3 types
Rye-Perennial and Annual 5 types
Ricegrass, Indian
Sideoats Grama
Big bluestem
Kentucky Bluegrass
Indiangrass
and others, as seasonally available.

I have mixed the pack together to get a good variety for the baby and the 7 other tortoises and turtles outside

Hiya again Terra ~

Dontcha hate when you type up a bunch of stuff and then accidently delete it? I've had it happen too, lol, and it surely is frustrating! However, sounds like he's got a complete diet going there & I'm happy to know he took a few bites; Hoooray!

In my experience with lil' Leo's, I feed them twice a day, and soak once a day. The temps I have in my enclosure is a bit warmer than yours, but who am I to say yours should be warmer, right? lol.

I have a 'bath tub' so that the tort's can come and go as they like, but my enclosure, as a whole, is not moist. I imagine you keep yours moist for the growth of the seeds.

Anyways, keep up the great work and post some more pics! Everyone loves those pics, lol! Also, what did you name your lil' one?

Blessings to you and your babe!!
Purpod :p

Be really careful with the humidity, Leopards tend towards URTI. They seem to be more fragile then most hatchlings, and as a species they have a problem with humidity...

RE: New baby today!!! 3 new pics baby leopard

So i took a couple pics with my camera, so the pics are clearer....

and yes on the tracks again since they were such a hit!!!

So BB took his bath and decided not to eat, but he is only 26 days old. His bite of cactus pad must be very filling!!!

Oh yes, Terra ~ he is just adorable!! (Keep an eyeball on his weight though, as you don't want a lil' one to grow weak and lose weight from not eating... just a precautionary measure I would suggest) ;)

And hey, Skipper ~ I thought I was the only one who remembered Gamera from the old days, LOL!

Thanx for the pics, Terra; you've brightened an otherwise dreary day!

Thanks. You're old enough to remember that? The avatar is the one I made for the Snapper forum.
