I noticed that too, maybe he's older than mine? They may be feeding him every day, I've been told to feed every other to every three days is better. The pictures are blurry Please keep us posted!

It looks like signs of MBD (Metabolic Bone Disease). You should ask what they are feeding it.
Find out things like: Is it getting the proper kinds and amounts of food? Are they feeding it too much fat? Are they giving it the correct amounts of vitamins and minerals? Is it getting enough sunlight?
Changes in husbandry and diet should stop the deformity and stave off serious MBD. But I personally don't have experience with hatchlings with it. I hope someone else may be able to provide input.

I definitely would not advise you to buy it unless you are willing to nurse it back to health and are prepared for a possible death. Definitely has a deformed shell and some Mbd.
I was going to trade for it, but since they lack the knowledge and care for him, wouldn't trade my snake to help then guy because I'd be risking the snakes life.
I explained the reason I wasn't going to trade and the guy decided to just give the boxie to me! He wants her to be healthy. He said she is active, eats a lot and all so, maybe there is hope?
