Howdy all,
I have found myself stationed in central Texas, right in the heart of the Hill Country. I've been fortunate to work at a ranch park and even more so to have the opportunity to convert an old horse pasture into a tortoise pasture. Since the conversion, I’ve had 5 Sulcatas and 1 Russian tortoise come through and make this place their home.
I’ve had tortoises and turtles for much of my life, and in my adulthood, I’ve really come to appreciate the community and structure these animals have provided for me. My long-term goal is to expand in some way, to be a hub for those needing a home for their precious shelled friends. Just wanted to put myself out there for anyone near and far who may need to rehome their tortoises.
