Sorry I haven't been able to keep up with what everybody has, but I didn't know you had Leopards or is this your first? If not, do you breed them? I guess this is kinda a request for more details about you and Leopards.
Tom,
The plastron is very flat. No concavity at all that I can detect.
Jacqui,
Not my first leopard. My second tortoise ever was a leopard hatchling way back in 1989. I have kept them on and off over the years. I currently have 3 hatchling South Africans, and now this one.
Deff. female, and pretty dirty at that. She needs a soak and a good scrubbing! How lucky you were, and how lucky for the woman who had to find them a new home that you were available at the right place and time. She found a GOOD home for her treasured pets and you made out like a bandit!
Hey Kristina, Thems fighten words. Just kidding. Yeah I feel really lucky. I was in the right place at the right time...this time anyway.
Yvonne, Yeah, she is a little dirty. We got rained on hard today. She had been out in it. When I picked her and the others up, they were in a barn. Lots of heat lamps and pads and such, but it was still kind of cool today. The lady that gave them to me, said she feels good that they are going to a home where tortoises are loved. I guess it was meant to be. Hey you can call me the Tortoise Bandit!
