New Russan Tortoise !

Well, I went to the pet store today to get mice for my snakes, and walked out with a Russan tortoise too. Was told it was a she. Her name is Rosie the Russan. I just could not pass her up. I know, we should not get them from the pet store but, she has been there for a while and they lowered the price to less then fifty bucks and she needed a home. She is about 4 1/2 inches on her plastron. Don't know how old she is, but here are the pics I got tonight.

Well, here she is with her first meal. Yesterday , when I got her, she went and buried herself. This morning she was up and roaming, looking for something to eat

Well, I went back to the pet store. The other Russan that was with the one I got turned out to be a male. Now I have to build another enclosure! Will have pictures maybe tomorrow , whenever he settles down some.
