Hello everyone from Louisiana Sportsman Paradise! My name is Denise and I am new to the forums and also a proud new parent to a baby Sulcata named Gator. My husband and I have been married for 12 years and have no human children. Our mini Zoo are our kids as we call them, consist of two horses (Pipi Longstocking and Tuff Stuff), a three year old boxer (who thinks he is human)named Roux, 2 tropical fish aquariums and now Gator! I am a 24/7 care giver to my parents. My days or filled with bathing, feeding, and caring for everyone, human and animals alike!!! I love to crochet and read! I also decorate cakes as an income since I cannot work outside of my home. I love learning new things and this forum has been an amazing place to do that! My little Gator would still be soaking in luke warm water and freezing his butt off if not for all the helpful advice I received from my seller Lance and this forum! Lance if you see this you rock!!! Thank you all for all you do.

Hello and welcome to the forum.

If you got one from Lance, you are in for an easy time and lots of good news. He starts his babies very well.

These might offer some tips:

I was thrilled when i found this site and Lance! I am so glad I did buy from him, he has been amazing!!! When going through the forums I look for you also! All of your post have helped me. Its because of your post about aquariums that Gator is nice and snug in his! It is easier for me to control all temps. We love Cane's sweet tea also! What part of LA did you visit. I am south of Lake Charles.

I'm all over the whole state regularly. I work in NOLA and Shreveport from time to time and I have family in Bossier. I was in NOLA in February for a couple of weeks came home, then went back to Covington for about a month, then came home again. This last trip was about three weeks in June on St.Charles street in NOLA and there was a canes right across the street from my hotel. I was in heaven. I really like it there.

Welcome to the Forums. You have done a lot of research and have asked a lot of questions. No doubt that Gator is in excellent hands and will grow into a big gorgeous adult in no time. Love to see pics so we all can be updated on Gator.
