New Tort Table

I keep getting inspired by people on this forum saying they just toke some scrap wood and just through a Tort table together so today being bored I put together some of the scrap wood laying around the back yard and came up with this

My daughter already enjoying the new table

Your daughter is just adorable! And I love the one picture where the tortoise is taking a bite and his eyes are closed. Its like he has to squint his eyes in order to open his mouth wider.

I actually had a box of hardwood floor left over from when I did the kitchen floors 8" planks so wrapped them all the way around I will post pics tomorrow

That table is fantastic! It's so big and roomy...perfect. Your daughter is absolutely beautiful. I feel bad for you in a few years when the guys are ringing your bell.

Looks great and has a lot of space...Are you going to put any plants in there or just leave it like that?

Eventually, just put it together this afternoon haven't had time to go shop for some plants. Does anyone have any suggestions on what plants I should plant in there

You could start with some grasses (fescue), hosta, mosses (scotch moss) and sedums. The hosta doesn't like direct hot sun. A few logs won't hurt.
