My little eggies are determined to drive me batty. I am very familiar with the 'a watched kettle won't boil' principle... so I am trying VERY HARD not to look in the incubator more than 10x per day. ;)

Yesterday night, just before 10, the second Russian tortoise baby pipped. I moved her egg to the container with the paper towel, so that if she came out during the night she wouldn't ingest any incubation substrate. By this morning she was out, and walking around. 16g, fat, and spunky. She'll spend a few more days in the incubator. 4 more eggs to go!
