Nice free hides

I've been using these for a while and they are pretty cool. Not sure what there called but i think they fall off palm trees.

Love it. I think they do come from palm trees. One of my favorit trees, that I don't get to have. Love that you use them.

I like this. My tortoise is too big to make use of. Wish I would of thought of it when he was still a baby. I got lots of palms.

I have lots of palm trees here and I've done the same thing. Great minds think alike! :)

On a side note: we had to do a visual display that required some chunks of wood, like log slices. Had no idea, but we went to a local place that plants palms and also were willing to sell pieces of trees they had pulled up or cut down for cheap. We grabbed a 2 foot square of root system and 2 2ft by 10 inch thick log slices for like $10. Just an odd fyi as I had never thought to look for something like that, never mind where to do find it.
