everything i have read said the russians dont bite. but my new female was chassing my fnger trying to bite it i let her a tiny bit just to see if it would hurt. i dont know if she was just on a rampage or what. is this common?

Your fingers may have become associated with food and now your RT thinks your fingers are food.. Thats my guess and its only a guess..

Mine tries to bite, but she's pretty slow so I haven't actually been bitten yet. She chases my toes and will sometimes go after fingers also. I think it's because when I first got her I would hand-feed her fruit to try to bribe her into liking me, but go figure now she associates fingers with food. Plus finger and toes are pinkish/orangish, about the color of her favorite fruits. It's not something I'm worried about though.
