No More Constipation!

A little while ago my Sulcata had a bout of constipation. I managed to work it out of him with three warm bathes for two days straight along with swooshing him back and forth in the water constantly, trying to move his bowels.

Anyways, I stumbled upon this article and thought it was ingenious! The solution is slightly inappropriate, but warrants a share. For the sake of tortoises, you know. :p

An interesting and amusing read whilst searching TFO 😂 I bet the tort was very happy in the end! Glad yours is doing much better, if a little buzz helps then why not! X

The solution to this problem is the correct diet and temperatures, along with adequate walking space in warm weather to get the much needed locomotion going. In fact, what I listed is the best way to prevent and/or solve this problem. Keeping a giant tortoise confined in a small area for months at a time with low temperatures and feeding grocery store produce is how this problem is caused.
